DATA ANALYTICS & VISUALIZATION PROJECT EXAMPLES

• eBay Store SQL Analysis. Created SQL database, tables, and analyzed statistics by category for sales patterns. Quantified sales rates, returns, examined effectiveness of promos, determined most and least profitable store categories and products, from three years of data. (Project summarization on my portfolio and full SQL script on GitHub)

• eBay Store Tableau Storyboard. Visualizations of the SQL analysis of sales and category trends. Bar charts, scatterplot with reference lines, packed bubbles charge, stacked bar chart.

• Bike Shop Sales Dashboard. Designed an interactive Google Sheets dashboard, enabling comprehensive insights into revenue streams and seasonal dips, guiding strategic decision-making regarding ways to increase revenue, namely by adding rentals. Developed and cleaned datasets in Excel, devised KPIs, created dynamic pivot tables and graphics to analyze and showcase best-selling part categories, sales patterns, and repair revenue.

• Regularly communicated data insights and recommendations to clients, facilitating understanding through clear presentations and in-depth explanations, while addressing any inquiries.

• Identified and resolved accounting discrepancies, boosting profit margins by correcting inventory pricing.

• Prepared financial accounting sheets (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement) and a 3 year growth projection. Calculated YOY Sales growth, profit margin, and parts margin figures.

• Identified cost-saving opportunities within the shop’s financial operations. Recommended fee-free small business accounts, eliminating unnecessary interest debt payments and multiple monthly account fees.

Redstone Health LLC — Finance Admin, May 2020 – Current

• Cleaned internal datasets, updated databases, created pivot tables to extract data for invoice generation.

• Managed financial records, prepared and submitted tax filings to IRS.

• Generated and submitted invoices to clients.

Claims Recovery Financial Services (CRFS) — Auditor, 2013

• Audited and corrected insurance claims for submission to Freddie Mac.
